Carla M. Howard has been a practicing lawyer for over 20 years and handles cases and matters involving construction law while specializing in construction defects, commercial litigation, complex and catastrophic personal injury cases, subrogation, first-party property, and all areas of insurance defense litigation.  She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Political Science degree in 1998 and the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville with a Juris Doctorate in 2002.

Prior to going to law school, Ms. Howard worked as a Senior Paralegal in Lexington, Kentucky.  Following law school, she moved to South Florida to begin her practice of handling complex and significant cases involving primarily construction law and personal injury law in both state and federal courts.  Her extensive knowledge in these area enables her to evaluate claims quickly and seek potential for early resolution.  She also frequently handles pre-suit claims with an eye on attempting early resolution without the necessity of litigation.   

Ms. Howard has litigated complex multiple party construction defect claims, contract disputes and personal injury claims and has handled hundreds of cases and claims throughout her signification litigation and trial experience.
